Body Piercings, Tattoos, etc

i was having a discussion last nice about these things.. i went out about a half hour after my dissing waas announced and got a tattoo.. who else has gotten tattos, or body piercings, or any type of body modificatoins done since leaving?.

Well, Sky, if you're a woman and want to get a genital piercing, you'll go through 1 maybe 2 seconds of horrible pain followed by numbness and then exhilaration. Then incredible sensation that you'll absolutely love for a long time.
one piercing I won't get done is the nipple piercing, just seems too painful and I'm not adding any weight to that area of my body (if you know what I mean, lol).
I read a lot on bme.freeq.com to find out about the procedures before I did anything. It helped to prepare me and help me be safe about it all.
Make sure you go to someone with experience and who is very clean and professional. ASk around and don't do anything unless you feel comfortable.

Well, I got a vertical hood piercing after I left the borg emotionally and now that I officially disassociated myself I can say I have my first (probably only) tattoo on my hip. It's a little bumblebee.
As fun as they were to get, i'm not into getting anything else done. The tattoo wasn't really something I was going to do, but a real sexy girl took me out for lunch and convinced me to do it. After she showed me her nipple piercings I had to do something so she wouldn't think I was a too much of a wimp.
Whatever advice I can give is t his:

Don't drink before choosing a tattoo and don't go with someone who you want to impress. Bad idea.

Ok, I do love my bee, but it hurt, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. The piercing though has been the best. My sex life has been blessed because of it.

It's just dawned on me...

...that jw's have a hard time forgiving others because they themselves are rarely forgiven for their own sins.

according to their beliefs jehovah keeps track of every detail of your life...good and bad.

that even if you are humble and repent of your sins, that there is still no true forgiveness until the new system.

Want to come up and go tobogganing, skiing, ice skating and singing Christmas carols with us? I could use a friend right now too. It's hard because I can't really call anyone anymore and my mom always cuts our conversations short now.

Try to cheer up and be thankful you're free of that negative brainwashing. Your Pops still has time to come around and change. Don't give up, but don't get discouraged either.

Hey LB,

We threw out some that were given us when we first got married and I'm upset about that, but we found beautiful bulbs, tinsel, lights and everything we needed at a dollar store. It was really reasonable to do the whole tree. We splurged on some special ornaments at Bronner's Christmas Store as a family tradition to start enjoying (world's biggest Christmas store).
Make some Christmas cookies and share with friends, you can't get in trouble for making cookies.

i posted mine this afternoon.

posted them to everyone who sent me an email, i was a bit surprised at who didnt request one though.

i've sent a wad to the us, exactly 1 postage per card but it was worth it.. oh yes, got me first, it arrived this morning.

My Thanksgiving...

I have a vertical hood piercing (thought about it for a year and took the plunge when I found out the truth about the Watchtower Society)and am planning on getting a tattoo on my lower back. My husband is getting something similar on his upper back, a griffin or dragon.

I FEEL SO USED

Hey, hang in there. He is taking advantage of you, even if he thinks he's just sharing some intimacy with a beautiful woman that feels the same way when obviously it means more to you. You do deserve more than that, but he's selfish and not taking into account (or just doesn't care) that he is putting your mental and emotional health in jeopardy.
Try to get out of this relationship before it really damages your self esteem. No man is worth that. If he's ever going to be the man of your life he'll do what he has to do to get you back. If not, oh well. You can find a lot better, just look at some of the sweethearts on this board. There are mature men out there, don't settle for a man that is pulling your strings like this. Don't make it so easy for him to ignore your needs. You're fulfilling his, but what about yours?

I've had recent experience and the pain is enormous and overwhelming. I hope you can get out of it and get over it soon. The pain goes away when you make the break and have some sort of closure. You're stronger than you think and better things (relationships) cannot happen until you dump this bozo.
